A new addition to the resort is the fire pit area where you can sit and relax fireside while listening to the ocean waves roll in. The young ones will appreciate the loggerhead beach area playground which has slides, a mini rock wall, table tennis, picnic tables and chairs for the parents to relax in the shade while the kids play (located behind South Tower parking garage). There is a game-room/arcade for the older kids to appreciate.

Onsite dining includes: The Captain's Cove, which has a full breakfast buffet and is also open for lunch. For something lighter, visit Captain's Nook which serves sandwiches, ice cream, shakes and Starbuck's Coffee. Tricks and tips to get the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose the perfect rental home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Choose your vacation dates and max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. BEACHFRONT ESCAPE TO RELAX, UNWIND & TAKE IN THE OCEAN AIR has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is often accessible online. If they are not listed, email the property owner before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
  • Upon arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
