Come appreciate your stay at our striking farmhouse which our family has adored for many years. Each room was decorated from a farmhouse Vision to provide comfort during your stay. The home has a huge kitchen filled with accessories to make your stay delightful. The home sits on a enormous lot with a humongous parking space. Bring your boat and put it in at one of our county’s biggest boat ramps located directly across from the farmhouse and spend your day on the Intracoastal Waterway. You can also drive roughly 12 miles and spend the day boating in Murrells Inlet Creek. A walk on the beach is only 6 miles from the farmhouse. Tips to get the very best vacation home experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for local shops and restaurants.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Choose your vacation dates and max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Beautiful Farmhouse has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. Otherwise, contact the property management company before reserving your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You will need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.
  • Looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

More considerations:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
