Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:

Finding the best value:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the most suitable vacation home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

How to choose and book your prefectrental home:

  • Begin by choosing trip dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Brigadune 3F - 3 Bed\/2 Bath Ocean Front Condo in Shore Drive Area has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before booking the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is best for your trip.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or charges could be applied to your contract.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

More tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Document any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
