Cabana Palms is a true 1 BR oceanfront condo residing in the historic Cabana District within Millionaire Row. This resort occupies the grounds of former Ocean Forest Hotel, circa 1928. The boardwalk is a fast 3.6 mile drive south on Ocean Blvd. This unique property is also located near the thriving high end eateries of the Grandiose Dunes area. If you seek a more casual bite, Buckets Oceanfront Grille is just a block away.

Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Sticking to a rental budget:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, shift your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning and picking a perfectrental home:
- Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Cabana Palms - Oceanfront Renovated King Bed Sauna has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the host before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your vacation.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- Looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Know before you go:
- Get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
- To make certain that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Call the host immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be a good neighbor. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
