Cabana Palms is a true 1 BR oceanfront condo residing in the historic Cabana District within Millionaire Row. This resort occupies the grounds of former Ocean Forest Hotel, circa 1928. While the hotel no longer remains, guests can take a trip back in time as they drive through the original tree lined roundabout which terminates at Pine Lakes Country Club, "The Granddaddy". This is the closest oceanfront condo to the club. Staying at this property affords guests the option to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown. The boardwalk is a fast 3.6 mile drive south on Ocean Blvd. This unique property is also located near the thriving high end eateries of the Grandiose Dunes area. If you seek a more casual bite, Buckets Oceanfront Grille is just a block away.

How to find the best rental experience:
When to go & When to book:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Reserve your Myrtle Beach vacation home in the Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
How to select the best vacation home:
- Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a max budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Cabana Palms - Oceanfront Renovated King Bed Sauna has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If not, email the property management company before you book the property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.
- Are you looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
Have a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of difficulties.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
- To make certain damages are not linked to your visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the host immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
