Myrtle Beach rental home booking tips:

- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, change your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, , and greatly reduced traffic.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. - Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
