How to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:

When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for local tours and attractions.

Choosing and booking the perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Choose your dates and max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. chill pill has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you reserve the property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what is optimal for your vacation.
  • If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you love, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon your arrival. Contact the rental manager right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your peace. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
