How to book the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Reserve your rental in Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Some hosts offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Stunning Myrtle Beach Getaway
?? ?? ?? ?? ?? has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search. - Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property management company before booking your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your family.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
- Does your group require unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
More tips for your stay:
- Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many concerns.
- Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
- To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a great stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
