Strategies to get the very best vacation property experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning and choosing your Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Select your vacation dates and budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Completely Renovated 1BR Suite- Stunning Views- St Clements 709 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you book the rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
Some things to know before you go:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- To make certain damages are not attributed to your stay, record any problem areas upon check in. Call the host right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
