Tips and Tricks for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Find your perfect rental:
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the most suitable vacation home within budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Filter your search:
- Select your vacation week and budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Direct Oceanfront Condo w\/ Luxury Amenities & a Breathtaking View! ~2 Bed\/2 Bath has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If not, reach out to the property owner before reserving your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
- Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about allowable breeds and types before booking.
Tips for your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the property manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of concerns.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
- When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
