This peaceful, private getaway of a home is ideal for a family hideaway or a golfers' getaway! It's less than seven miles from Surfside Beach and close to the entrance to 31 and offers painless access to all of Myrtle Beach's best beaches, Surfside Beach, Garden City, and Murrells Inlet for local seafood. This off-season golfer's heaven is on the water, where you can see the fish and turtles, and it features a elegant landscape. The area is also known for theaters and shows, it's great for walking, and it has tons of nature all around. There are firepits in the front and back, making this the ideal family home for both fall and winter.

A pretty and lush garden awaits in the enclosed backyard of this secluded home away from home. It's the ideal spot to play with your kids or dogs or relax with your beloved group around the wood firepit - there is an additional propane firepit on the front porch. You can also take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool and savor a invigorating dip there. If working on your tan is in your plans, you'll be delighted to know there are supplied beach chairs by the pool. The poolside outdoor dining area will be ideal for meals alfresco with the group. Show off your grilling skills with the propane grille available and surprise your friends with delicious grilled treats.

A homey living room will greet you upon entering this air-conditioned getaway. Three comfortable couches are strategically located in front of a wall-mounted TV, offering a cozy gathering spot. The well-equipped kitchen is complete with every appliance you could ever dream of, including a French-door refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and two coffee makers (drip and Keurig). The adjoining dining table seats up to six and enjoys handsome garden vistas from ample windows. If packing heavy is not on your list, you are in luck! This home has a designated laundry room with a washer/dryer combo and a sink.

The first floor of the home has two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The main bedroom offers direct access to the backyard, a flatscreen TV, and an en suite full bathroom. The second bedroom also has backyard access and a TV - the only difference is the bathroom, which is a half bathroom. The upstairs level is home to two more bedrooms that share a full bathroom.

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Myrtle Beach. Book your Myrtle Beach rental in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing and booking the perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Start by choosing your potential vacation weeks and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Dog-friendly home with private pool, gas grill, 2 firepits, enclosed yard, AC has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before booking your home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

Some things to know before you go:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
