Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
When to visit Myrtle Beach & When to reserve a rental home:
- Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To find the best vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
- The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
- Property managers often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Narrow your Search:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Elevated Excellence 1 Bedroom King Suite 15th Flr has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property management company before reserving the rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach destination you simply love, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
More considerations for your visit:
- Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To make certain no damages are attributed to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
