Our top Myrtle Beach rental home booking tips and tricks:

Sticking to a budget:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Make a plan and choose a perfectrental home:

  • Start by choosing potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Golden Era Oceanfront Apartment!~The Palace 1702 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the host before reserving the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More tips for your stay:

  • Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. text the rental manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
