Pros: -Great view with painless check in -Washer and Dryer in the unit -Enormous living space -Two king size beds -Over half of the unit is floor to ceiling of windows which accepts you to view the beach and the city at the same time Cons: -Looking to get the kitchen cabinets replaced due to wear and tear -Guests have complained about other units around them leaving the hallways smelling of smoke (cigarettes & marijuana) This is out of our control as we only own the unit not the building -Feeling particles of sand on the floors when walking barefoot. The floors are hard to get every granule of sand off the floor as we are at the beach and it is in the air

When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. To get the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
- Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby tours and attractions.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Select a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and select a budget.

- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually available online. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you reserve the property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
- Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.

- Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are assessed.
- Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Remember to be objective.
