Myrtle Beach rental booking tips:

When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:

  • Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the largest rental home within budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain discounts for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Planning and choosing the perfectrental home:

  • First, have your group choose vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. Holiday Towers #4 Lovely condo on the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the host before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.

Tips for a smooth stay:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the rental manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many concerns.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
