Tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Get the most from your budget:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Choosing the perfect vacation home:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Incredible Views! Sea Mist Resort 51610 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property owner before you book the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
- If your group is traveling with pets, search for a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
Tips to have a wonderful stay:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Keep your property safe!
- During check-in, note any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
