Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Finding the best rental home value:
- Summer time is high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the best value, shift your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites often offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Filter your rental search:
- Choose vacation week and budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration you need. Inspiring Ocean View Ste Free Breakfast 12th Flr has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the host before you book the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your vacation.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you are enamored with, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
- Some properties allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Know before you go:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the rental manager right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of issues.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on good reviews to propel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
