About this Property

  • Sleeps 8
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Condo
  • Approximately 1430 square feet

This is a humongous two bedroom unit with two baths, full kitchen, and laundry. There are two balconies overlooking the beach - one off the living room and one off the master bedroom - we leave the sliding door open at nighttime and listen to the waves in our bedroom. If I can't sleep, I go look at the moon and the ocean from the balcony.

There's a very nice outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, and hot tubs out front by the beach. The beach is very huge and sandy and never busy - we play horseshoes, soccer, croquet, frisbee, etc. and fly kites and build sand castles, as well as sunbath and swim. Waves are great. You can rent chairs with umbrellas for the week if you wish - they are right out front.

A short walk down the beach is a place to rent jet-skis or go para-sailing. There are also numerous outdoor beachfront eateries and/or bars within walking distance.

We also adore the mini-golf all over the area, as well as the water parks, amusement parks, shopping, regular golf, and much more. And we always hit a couple of all-you-can-eat seafood buffets.

The unit has a full kitchen, well supplied, a living room with two pullout couches and a huge screen TV. The master bedroom is giant with a enormous king bed and walk in closet (our kids used to sleep in it when modest), and a bath with one sink inside the shower/toilet room and one sink outside - ideal.

There is a second bath in the hall and a second bedroom with a double bed and a twin bed, also with a sizable closet and a couple of dressers.

In addition, there is a linen closet, a broom closet, and a large mudroom where we put all the body boards, beach chairs, beach toys, golf clubs, etc.

This is a fairly peaceful part of town - not in the commercial center. But it is walking distance to town (a long walk, but there are sidewalks - and a beach - all the way). A private parking spot labeled with the unit number is reserved out front for every unit.

We appreciate it and go every year. We own three units at this facility.

Booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Book your Myrtle Beach rental in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides contain money saving offers on nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning, picking, and booking your prefectrental:

  • First and foremost, have your family decide on dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Large two bedroom condo with two balconies overlooking the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the host before reserving the vacation home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Know before you go:

  • Put the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
