This is a giant two bedroom unit with two baths, full kitchen, and laundry. There are two balconies overlooking the beach - one off the living room and one off the master bedroom - we leave the sliding door open at nighttime and listen to the waves in our bedroom. If I can't sleep, I go look at the moon and the ocean from the balcony.
There's a very nice outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, and hot tubs out front by the beach. The beach is very sizable and sandy and never busy - we play horseshoes, soccer, croquet, frisbee, etc. and fly kites and build sand castles, as well as sunbath and swim. Waves are great. You can rent chairs with umbrellas for the week if you wish - they are right out front.
A short walk down the beach is a place to rent jet-skis or go para-sailing. There are also numerous outdoor beachfront eateries and/or bars within walking distance.
We also appreciate the mini-golf all over the area, as well as the water parks, amusement parks, shopping, regular golf, and much more. And we always hit a couple of all-you-can-eat seafood buffets.
The unit has a full kitchen, well outfitted, a living room with two pullout couches and a enormous screen TV. The master bedroom is humongous with a huge king bed and walk in closet (our kids used to sleep in it when modest), and a bath with one sink inside the shower/toilet room and one sink outside - ideal.
There is a second bath in the hall and a second bedroom with a double bed and a twin bed, also with a huge closet and a couple of dressers.
In addition, there is a linen closet, a broom closet, and a large mudroom where we put all the body boards, beach chairs, beach toys, golf clubs, etc.
This is a fairly peaceful part of town - not in the commercial center. But it is walking distance to town (a long walk, but there are sidewalks - and a beach - all the way). A private parking spot labeled with the unit number is reserved out front for every unit.
We adore it and go every year. We own three units at this facility.

Tips to get the very best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Sticking to your budget:
- Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property managers typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines have discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Selecting and booking a perfectrental:
- Select your dates and max budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Large two bedroom condo with two balconies overlooking the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property owner before booking the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Does your group require specific amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental home.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
- Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, record any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
