Myrtle Beach vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the most suitable rental within budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • First, have your group select vacation dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Largest Indoor Water Park - Deluxe Unit - Extended Balcony has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the host before you reserve your home. • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or might be applied to your invoice.
  • Does your family require unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

During your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
