Tips to get the very best vacation property experience:
Find your perfect vacation home:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
