After parking in one of your two parking spots, pass through the front porch to enter the living/dining room. There you will find a couch, a 48" HD intelligent TV with Roku (you can access any streaming account you have), a dining table with seating for four, and counter seating for two.
Beyond is the entirely equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, tableware, and cookware). Off the kitchen is the utility room with a washer and dryer, cleaning amenities, and beach chairs. Continue toward the back and find a full bathroom with a shower, a door to the back patio, and a staircase. The fenced, private rear deck features a table, chairs, an umbrella, and a charcoal grille.
Moving upstairs, you’ll find two roomy bedrooms plus a full bathroom with a tub and shower off the hallway. Rental property booking tips:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
- The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning and picking the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. “Mermaid’s Dream” Short Walk from the Waves & Pool has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your vacation family.
- Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your .
- To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a excellent time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
