Booking the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. To get the largest rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Filter your search:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation dates, and select a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Luxury Condo! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property manager before you reserve your home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
More tips for your visit:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your stay, record any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the rental manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to stimulate future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
