Booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
When to go & When to book:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach rental in Fall or Spring months to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Filter your search:
- Select vacation week and max budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Newly Added Palace Resort,Clean,Pools, High Floor! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking pages. If not, call the host before you book the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to establish which bed configuration is right for your family.
- Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
- If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
More considerations for your visit:
- Store the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. text the property manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a excellent stay? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
