Booking the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the largest rental within your budget, we recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Begin by selecting your trip dates and a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Pool & Lake View Condo Near Golf Course has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible online. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before you reserve the property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what configuration is best for your family.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you are crazy about, search for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or may be applied to your invoice.
Tips to have a fantastic stay:
- Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain that no damages are linked to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
