Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation rental experience:
When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- To find the largest rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have offers and deals for nearby tours and attractions.
How to choose the best rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Start by choosing your a vacation week and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Direct oceanfront 3 BR condo @ Myrtle Beach Resort has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property management company before you reserve the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your trip.
- Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
Tips to have a terrific stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- To make certain that damages aren't linked to your visit, note any problem areas during check in. Call the property manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
