Tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Reserve your rental in Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Choosing the best rental home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Begin by choosing your the best vacation week and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Oceanfront Resort with a View - Freshly Renovated has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible online. If they are not listed, email the property owner before you book the home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is best for your trip.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the rental manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
