Our home has 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds. We are located on site R10 on SandLapper Lake and on East SandLapper Drive in Ocean Lakes. It has a nice sizable wrap around deck on the first and second floors. The two stories of roomy deck offers the ideal place to relax in the sun, the outdoor chairs make for an amazing space to watch the sun rise and sit with a nice drink on those warm Myrtle Beach mornings and cooler evenings. Wake up to a elegant day and savor breakfast with your family on the nice covered deck. This is a raised foundation, but not on stilts so getting up and down the stairs is much easier. Note: Peak season dates often requires weekday check-in / check-out, but this typically accepts guests to book additional days. Peak season minimum stay is 7 nights.

Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- To get the best rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
- Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Selecting and booking yourrental home:
- Start by choosing your a vacation week and a budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. On The Lake, At The Beach - Ocean Lakes R10 - Weekday check-in&out has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or may be applied to your contract.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you crave, browse rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Considerations for your stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Note any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if damages are assessed.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a great time? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
