Tricks and tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and pick the best Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • Start by having your family decide on the best dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Sand Dunes Resort, North Tower, Views, Nice Pools! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Advice for a fantastic stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
  • To make certain that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the property manager immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
