Tips and Tricks to get the very best vacation property experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

How to select the perfect rental home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. T1012 at Myrtle Beach Resort!: Sandy Shores and Stunning Views has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually available online. Otherwise, email or call the host before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • Does your family require specific amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pet restrictions before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the property manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
