Myrtle Beach rental home tips:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. To book the most suitable rental within budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
- Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, travel guides contain coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.
