The big draw to this property is how overly dog-friendly it is. Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. On-site services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat, offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and a sundeck for guests to savor. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests appreciate complimentary blockbuster units during their stay.
Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are included with a package of tickets from local partners. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.
Kids’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grandiose, Camelot, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!
Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, Camelot, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. Tricks and tips to get the best vacation rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guides have discounts for local accommodations and attractions.
Planning, picking, and booking yourrental:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Seventh-Floor Studio with Shared Pool\/Hot Tub, WiFi, and Central AC has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what is right for your group.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the owner about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you crave, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
More tips for your visit:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
- To make certain damages are not linked to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the property manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
