How to find the best vacation home experience:
Money saving strategies:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- Hosts sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning and choosing a perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- Choose a group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Stunning 1st Floor, 3 Bedroom in Myrtlewood Villas has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the host before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is best for your trip.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or could be applied to your invoice.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you love, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
More tips for your stay:
- Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
- Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
