• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Some owners offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
• Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance.
