Tricks and tips to get the optimal rental home experience:
When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Book your Myrtle Beach rental in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
