Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in Myrtle Beach. To get the best vacation home within budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
How to select the best rental home in Myrtle Beach:
- Select your vacation week and spending budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Snowbird Specials Available-Tranquil Palms Oceanfront Condo has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before booking your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
More tips for your visit:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a excellent stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
