Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the best value, shift your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose yourrental:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Unforgettable Oceanfront Suite for You has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property management company before reserving your home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Does your group require unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Tips for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact info to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to inspire more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
