Tricks and tips to get the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Sticking to a budget:
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach rental property in the Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Begin by choosing potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Coastal Comfort: Oceanfront Jr Suite 3rd Floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
- If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you love, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
Tips to have a terrific stay:
- Store the host's information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. message the host immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
