+Except for Instant Bookings, which are pre-confirmed available weeks+, as the resort also rents out units for owners, we review all other requests to confirm availability. I have some dates blocked on the calendar but changes due to the resort holds/hold releases and bookings are constant and it's nearly impossible to keep current on them. Additionally, if we've listed this as a week block, we will consider stays that are 4 - 6 nights. Always feel complimentary to ask, if that is what you are interested in. Accessibility units may be available. The earlier one asks, the more likely the request can be met.
Book early; this fills fast. The resort is 1 big block (around 1/2 mile) from Broadway at the beach so we go there every nighttime. The teenagers even walk there. We take our bicycles and go bicycle riding every year. Myrtle Beach is a fun place to ride. The beach is 3 blocks. We always go down to A1A and make a left and look for the public access signs. Framed by towering pine trees, Sheraton Broadway Pltn gives a feeling of seclusion. Yet you're right in the heart of all the action - just across the street from famed Broadway at the Beach and roughly one mile from the ocean. Myrtle Beach offers a diverse array of activities for the whole family. Explore unspoiled beaches, amusement parks, water parks, state parks and museums. Tee-up on world-class golf courses, go fishing or sailing. Take in top-notch entertainment in the many dinner theaters. And of course, you'll want to make time for some serious shopping.
You are in the heart of Myrtle Beach. The choices are nearly countless. My personal tip: Try Rios Brazilian Steakhouse. It's impressive. My friends tell me that Gauchos is also very good but STAY AWAY from Charcoals (connected to Kansas City Prime) it was one of the worst vacation experiences we've ever had. Please see photos. Our top Myrtle Beach rental home booking tips:
Getting the most from your budget:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- To get the best value, try changing your family's Myrtle Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Narrow your Search:
- Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a max budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. 2Br 2Ba @The Gorgeous Sheraton Broadway Plantation RESORT Myrtle Beach Sleep\/8 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before booking your rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation family.
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
Tips for your stay:
- Get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
- Record any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Did your family have a fantastic time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
