Myrtle Beach rental home tips:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in Myrtle Beach. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Selecting the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Start by having your group select trip dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 1 Bedroom at a 57-acre Oceanfront Property + Official On-Site Rental Privileges has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property owner before you book your home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach beach you are crazy about, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
- If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. Make contact with the property manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peaceful home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
