When to go & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- To find the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Narrow your Search:
- Choose a group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. 18th Floor OCEANFRONT-CAMELOT BY THE SEA has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is regularly available online. Otherwise, call the host before reserving the vacation property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your group.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before booking
More tips for your visit:
- We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone.

- Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. text the rental manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
