Getting the best rental value:
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save on your vacation home. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain money saving offers on nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Selecting the perfect vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- To start, have your family decide on trip dates and a budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Oceanfront 3BR\/2BA,walking distance to everything. has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property owner before you reserve the rental. More tips for your visit:
- Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of concerns.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
- To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the host immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
