Use of our golf cart is included for all stays regardless of length. Our home was freshly refreshed with new paint, light fixtures, floor, Samsung intelligent TVs and a new bed in the Master bedroom. Located on a peaceful dead end road just off the intersection of Coral Drive and Dick Pond Road, it is close to the South Gate which accepts you to avoid the summer traffic congestion at the main gate. Take a leisurely 5 min. walk to the beach, or you can ride on the golf cart supplied with the rental ($400 value). There are plenty of sand toys for your use and after your day at the beach, you can come back and rinse off in the enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower.
This cavernous 5 bedroom home (including a downstairs master) provides lake vistas from all rooms. There is a full bathroom on the main floor as well as a stackable washer/dryer. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and one of the rooms also has a bunk bed with external stairs so it is safer for kids to get to the top bunk. We provide a pack-n-play, infant vibration seat, high chair, tent, books, and games for those traveling with little ones. A kids’s picnic table on the porch seats 4 on nights when your family would like to dine outdoors. There are also 2 swings that kids of all ages can appreciate. Each restroom has step stools and TineyHiney potty seats. Your family can go fishing, or just savor watching the ducks, turtles, geese, and swans in the lake and do so safely behind the fence.
For the adults in your event, relax at the full size tiki bar which includes a TV, refrigerator, sink, and is completely supplied with cooking essentials. You can roast marshmallows in the fire pit or prepare dinner on the gas grille while watching your favorite sporting event. There is a double swing facing the lake for you to relax in or you can lounge in the hammock. If it is a movie nighttime you are looking for, enjoy a movie on the 65” Samsung intelligent TV in the living room. All of the bedrooms also have Samsung intelligent TVs.
The open floor plan accepts guests in the kitchen, living room, and dining room to stay connected. The kitchen is equipped with service for 12. The bar seats 4 and the dining room seats 8. There is additional seating on each of the decks as well as the patio below. For those who want to enjoy the sunrise, there is a deck located right off the dining area.
The main deck offers an array of rocking chairs, patio chairs, and picnic tables for adults and kids. There is a gate at the top of the stairs for the safety of modest kids. The upper deck provides additional outdoor space to take in the lake vistas. Both decks are covered to give you a reprieve from the summer sun!

Your rental of our home includes access to all of the amenities at Ocean Lakes. Ocean Lakes is a family-aligned, gated, and patrolled community with a multitude of activities for both adults and kids. With nearly a mile of privately owned beachfront, it features eight freshwater lakes, and a recreation center with supervised activities for kids such as day camps, fire engine rides and playground activities. A brand new water park has an Olympic sized pool, water slides, a lazy river, and a kiddie splash zone. On rainy days, take your kids to the arcade, bring them to the heated indoor pool or take a family outing to the close by aquarium. On sunny days they can burn off some energy at the two playgrounds, basketball courts, shuffleboard, or miniature golf. The full-time recreation staff can help you acquire tickets for local shows. You can also visit the Ocean Lakes Nature Discovery Center Lab on the campgrounds.
Since this home is set up for family units, we do not rent to anyone under age 25. We would adore for you to return the same week year after year and we will hold your reservation up to 13 months in advance.

Strategies for getting the best rental home experience:
Finding the best value:
- Reserve your vacation in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain discounts for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Selecting and booking the right Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Select a group lead, choose your dates, and select a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. MH 136A - All-inclusive [7-day rental] Ocean Lakes home with tiki bar\/golf cart\n has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the host before you reserve your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach destination you are enamored with, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
- Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
Have a wonderful stay:
- Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain that no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the property manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your family have a terrific time? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
