The options are countless here for everybody to have fun on vacation whether you prefer the short walk from the home to the beach to relax and listen to the ocean or would like a little more adventure.
Ocean Lakes has something for everybody to savor without having to even leave the property. Whether you are looking to stay busy at the water park, play some beach volleyball, or bring the little ones to the playground right along the ocean there are endless options. Also, while you are there, play some mini golf, corn hole, horseshoes, basketball and maybe you want to try out the skateboard park. There are a few snack bars, a market and golf car units available.
Home features new granite countertops & appliances with upgrades throughout. If you prefer to do your own cooking, there are a variety of gadgets and cookware in the kitchen to choose from. Plenty of seating at the dining room table as well as a snack bar area for a couple more. We also have 1st and 2nd Floor master bedrooms with King beds and full baths. The upper master has its own private deck where you can watch the sun come up in the morning over the ocean. There is a second family room area on the second floor with a queen couch sleeper and entertainment center with cable TV for those evenings when you need a little down time and not everybody agrees on what to watch. There are HD flat panel TVs located throughout the home as well as high speed internet with wi-fi. The room with twin bunk beds also has a roll out trundle. There are ceiling fans in 3 bedrooms, second TV area and living room. The main deck area wraps around the home for ocean vistas in both the front and rear of the home. You can relax on the swing on the lower deck overlooking the swash and watch the kids appreciate fishing or sit and watch the ducks and geese swim by. There is parking under the home for 2 cars.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best vacation home within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to select the best vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Choose your vacation dates and maximum budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Ocean Views - Newly Renovated 4BR\/ 3BA Stilt Home in Ocean Lakes - 1006 has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the host before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine what is optimal for your trip.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you crave, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if a dispute arises.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
- Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
