Finding the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:

Find your best deal:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental in the Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and picking yourrental:

  • Start by selecting vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Beach Bums Oceanfront 14th Floor 3 Bedroom Condo has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. If not, contact the host before you book the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is suitable for your family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

More tips for your visit:

  • Get the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Document any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your life at home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to inspire new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
