Tips for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To book the best vacation home for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Choosing the best rental home:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Beachside Delight Suite with Stunning View 7th Flr has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine what configuration is right for your trip.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you long to visit, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.

Tips for a great stay:

  • Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure no damages are linked to your stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the property manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many concerns.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
