Thank you for viewing Ocean Blue 601, located near 27th Avenue on South Ocean Boulevard at the southern end of Myrtle Beach. As shown in the photos, our 6th floor oceanfront condo is furnished as a second home with high-end fashonable furnishings and artwork. While not a typical beach rental, Ocean Blue 601 is striking, roomy, and comfortable with floor-to-ceiling windows with a handsome and unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean. We have plantation shutters throughout the condo.
This is an owner managed condo and we take pride in the presentation of our condo. We're here for our guests and want your stay at our condo to be a very memorable one. We have a spectacular cleaning staff and our condo one of the cleanest and freshest condo's you'll find. The building has just been newly painted and looks handsome.
At Ocean Blue only three condos are on each floor serviced by two elevators. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom end unit is 2,850 square feet and extends the length of the building from the beach to the street. There is a 350 square-feet ocean front balcony to watch the sunrise and a second Ocean Drive balcony to watch the sunset.
For the past twelve years this has been booked solid and the property has condo has received all five-star ratings from our guests. Please read their fabulous reviews. We are always improving the condo and have newly upgraded to new 32” flat-screen TVs in bedrooms, freshly painted walls, and changed out over 30 pieces of framed artwork by Charleston artist Gordon Wheeler.
Guests conveniently appreciate keyless entry doors (one codes access building and condo doors) and an attached parking garage. The extremely clean condo has comfortable beds with fresh white sheets and cavernous bathrooms with fluffy white bath towels.
The dining room and completely-furnished kitchen are great for entertaining with ocean vistas, a huge table that seats eight, and a breakfast bar that seats four.
The kitchen offers two fridges with ice-makers, two ovens and two dishwashers.
The media room, with two full couches and a second 55” flat screen TV, is great for an additional entertainment area. Our Condo also includes cable, WIFI, beach towels, hair dryers, traditional and k-cup coffee makers, starter paper towels, toilet paper and laundry detergent.
Ocean Blue amenities include a heated indoor pool, lazy river with tubes, hot tub, and an outdoor pool with sunbathing area with reclining lounge chairs, and a boardwalk to the beach with two showers. Myrtle Beach rental home tips and tricks:
Cost saving strategies:
- June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the best value, consider changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain discounts for nearby tours and attractions.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- To start, have your family select date ranges and a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Beautiful CLEAN 5BD\/4BA Luxury Condo. HUGE Oceanfront balcony! 5 Stars! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property manager before booking the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
- Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
- Upon arrival, make note of any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
- At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a terrific stay? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
