Things that inspire relaxation come in many forms. It could be watching the sun rise or set over the ocean… cloudscapes mirrored in the reflection of a serene lake… it could be listening to nature beginning to stir at first light… or the sound of ocean waves lapping upon the shore... even taking a leisurely walk through a pretty park-like setting… Imagine being able to experience all these forms of relaxation in one location!
Our second floor, +1400 SF villa in the Richmond Park community of Kingston Plantation has plenty of space for a huge family or even a couple modest families looking to share vacation accommodations. The condo has it's own private entrance just a few steps up from the front sidewalk. It overlooks Arrowhead Lake, the biggest body of freshwater in the 145-acre resort-style community. You will savor a spectacular walk across the footbridge to use the Richmond Park pool and beach accesses are a very short drive to the east side of the Plantation behind the high-rises. We are conveniently located right across the street from “The Landing” – Kingston’s spa and exercise center that opened in May 2017.
The floorplan, already appearing open and airy with the vaulted ceilings, appears even more open concept after removing the overhead cabinets that once closed off the kitchen from the living/dining area. Unique colored glass pendant lighting fixtures, subway tile backsplash, and beaming white beadboard cabinetry complement the gorgeous granite countertops. The stainless steel appliances further enhance the calm, cool blue-gray color scheme. We have outfitted the kitchen with useful housewares and modest appliances to make meal preparation away from home easier. Our dining set accommodates six; there is a setting for two inside the kitchen, as well as a modest table and two chairs on the deck just off the living room.
The living room is furnished with a comfortable couch and appreciate seat, a sizable wall-mounted flat screen TV and has an impressive view of the lake. Step out onto the deck and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you! Take your morning coffee or evening wine to appreciate while you’re out there. After you’ve taken in all the scenery you can for a while, come back inside and enjoy complimentary cable TV with HBO and WiFi daily! The fireplace adds to a cozy vibe, but please note that it is for aesthetics only (sorry).
The master bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, plenty of dresser space, and a modest writing desk that sits below the window with a view of the lake. The master bath has a double-sink vanity with white beadboard cabinets, dressed with a pretty granite countertop and framed mirrors.
Both guest bedrooms are each furnished with a queen bed AND a day bed, two convenient nighttime stands, a sizable dresser and a flat screen TV. The two guest bathrooms each have a brand new single-sink vanity with white beadboard cabinets and a framed mirror.
There is a full-size washer and dryer set inside our condo for our guests to use. An iron and ironing board are also available, as well as a hairdryer in each bathroom.
THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT OUR Vacation Rental By Owner GUESTS NEED TO KNOW: Our guests have access to THREE swimming pools – the Richmond Park community pool (located behind the Laurel Court lodge building), the Beach Club Pool (located oceanside between the North and South Hampton high-rises) and the Windermere By The Sea community pool (located across the street from the Brighton high-rise). Our condo is a non-smoking and pet-complimentary environment. Any family pets you may see around the Plantation belong to homeowners and are registered with their owners association. You will also have access to the 1/2-mile wide stretch of beach that is to be appreciated by all Kingston Plantation homeowners and guests alike!!
Unfortunately, Vacation Rental By Owner guests do not have access to the Embassy Suites and Hilton water amenities (pools/pool decks, Splash! Waterpark or the Lazy River). These are separately maintained by the Embassy Suites'/Hilton rental programs and are exclusive to their rental guests. However, you may patronize their eateries and poolside bars and cafes.

Tricks and tips for getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Make a plan and pick the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- To start, have your group select date ranges and a max budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Kingston Plantation Beach Condo. Book a Spring\/Summer Vacation Now! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If not, email or call the property manager before booking the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges may be applied to your contract.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the host's information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. text the rental manager right away to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
