Tricks and tips to get the very best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental property in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
