About this Property

  • Sleeps 10
  • 4 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 2400 square feet

It's very hard to find something in the area this size for this price that is accepting family pets, and less than a mile to the beach- plus you will be amazed at how many eateries & stores are in walking or golf cart distance. There are 2 King Beds and 2 Queen Beds, as well as a sleeper couch in the living room so we can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Golf Cart at the home can be rented separately:
https://us.skrtshare.com/en/view/CoolEZGO_2022

The cart is parked to the side of the front yard. I always appreciate taking it to the beach and to stores for groceries etc. & it's just easier having it at the home already than having to call around and find one.

The main living space is an open floor plan with kitchen/dining/living room, the enormous granite kitchen island gives you tons of counter space and 3 stools so you can eat at the island. There is a huge double door stainless steel frig. with freezer drawers, and everything you need to prepare is supplied (pots, pans, microwave, full size stove with 4 burners, silverware, dishes, wine glasses, plastic cups, coffee maker etc.) Linens and pillows for the beds are also supplied.

The Main bedroom has a sizable bathroom with dual sinks, upsized hottub tub, separate shower, and access to sunroom with hot tub. The hot tub is big enough for about 4 people. Second bathroom is a Jack & Jill set up between 2 bedrooms with 1 sink, and a shower/tub combo.

Second King size bed is in a room with separate entrance in the back of the home, but also with a door to the main living space and a sliding glass door that opens to one of the other bedrooms if you choose to use it.

The huge living room has vaulted ceiling, skylights, electric fireplace with remote control and has access to the hot tub patio/sunroom.

Backyard is fenced, and there is a covered front patio with a table and chairs. Home has wifi, 2 intelligent TV's, and 1 TV for dvd's. There is a large washer and dryer, and the kitchen in equipped with a new garbage disposal and dishwasher.

This is a great location because you are in cycling or walking distance to Slingshot units, bicycle & golf cart units, cafes, Pizza, Subway, antique stores, nail salons, Waffle House, convenience store, stores, and eateries.

It only takes a few mins. to ride on a golf cart to Surfside Beach, plus you're15 min to Broadway at the Beach for tons of shopping and eateries like Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville & attractions like Legends for Celebrity impersonator shows, go carts, water park, Ferris wheel & Wonder Works, 10-12 min to the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet with live music pretty much every nighttime at all the eateries along the water, and about 10 min to Garden City Pier for live bands and fishing. The home is 30 min from attractions like Carolina Opry and Brookgreen Gardens.

The home has 2 kayaks outside and you are welcome to use the life jackets as well. Murrells Inlet is a great place to put the kayaks in the water and/or rent more or try other water sports.

The closest way to get to the beach is when you leave the home make a left on Plantation, at the end of the street go right at the traffic circle & 1st right out of it, right on Highway 17 (or use service road for the golf cart), left on 5th St. & just take that to the beach. I go right to get to eateries and a few miles down is the Garden City Pier. It takes me 5 min. on the Golf Cart to get from the home to the beach.

If you're on the golf cart you may already know this- you can't drive on 17, but you can cross over it at the lights so just go on the back roads or through store parking tons whenever you need to get to a main intersection.

About the Area

The Market Common and Broadway at the Beach are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Family Kingdom Amusement Park and SkyWheel Myrtle Beach. Tips for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Book your Myrtle Beach rental home in the Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guides have money saving offers on nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning and picking the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • Start by having your group commit to dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Pet Friendly- Sleeps 10 -Less than 1 mile to beach - hot tub & kayaks! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If not, email or call the property management company before booking your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you love, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure damages are not linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
