The beach-front three-story building has open-air hallways, and is located near the end of Shore Drive on a secluded low traffic area of the beach. Instead of more condos across the street, we have the Swash, which is an abbreviation for salt water marsh. It is adjacent to a handsome golf course, and is a great place to fish or crab. Or for even better fishing you can walk a short distance down the beach to Apache Pier, the longest pier on the east coast. A fishing license is not required to fish in the Swash, surf, or from Apache Pier. The owners use the unit and are always making improvements. Every effort is made to keep the condo meticulously clean and very well maintained.

How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Money saving strategies:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
How to pick the best vacation home in Myrtle Beach:
- Choose a group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Condo on Beach, Myrtle Beach, SC - walk out the back door and onto the beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach destination you are enamored with, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Tips for your stay:
- Add the host's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many concerns.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Note any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
