Strategies for getting the perfect rental experience:
Finding your perfect rental:
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
- Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Filter your search:
- Choose vacation week and budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Gorgeous Pet Friendly First Floor Condo in Myrtlewood Villas has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before reserving your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your group is bringing pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
Tips for a wonderful stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To make sure damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. Call the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
